About me
I teach Human Anatomy and Physiology, as well as Biology, at Leigh High School. With 27 years of teaching experience—including 10 years with AVID—I strive to spark curiosity and a love of learning in every student.
Before I entered the classroom, I taught teachers how to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint back when they were brand new. That early passion for educational technology led me to become a MERIT 18 participant, and I’ve been keeping my toes in the EdTech waters ever since. Exploring new technology continues to inspire me on long days.
Outside of teaching, I love all things LEGO—my two kids may have outgrown them, but I never did! Whether I’m building in the classroom or at home, I believe learning should always be creative and fun.
