About me
Lisa Highfill is an experienced educator, ed tech leader, and proud geek dedicated to reimagining how students learn through curiosity, innovation, and design. She has served Pleasanton Unified School District for over 30 years and currently teaches middle school at its hybrid, project-based virtual academy. Since earning her Master’s in Ed Tech Leadership in 1998, she has become a Google Certified Innovator, Merit Fellow, and Leading Edge Digital Educator. Lisa has served on advisory boards including GoogleEDU and Imagine K12, and presents nationwide on educational technology. She is also co-creator and co-author of The HyperDoc Handbook and Teachers Give Teachers.
