Building Better STEM Classrooms: Tools and Resources from UC Scout LIMITED

In this session, educators will learn about the high-quality resources available from UC Scout. In the Plus plan, instructors receive access to standards-aligned curricula and tools that don't sacrifice quality or engagement. Free to California public schools, these courses can be utilized as a roadmap for building new STEM curriculum or to supplement existing STEM courses. Through a case study on three STEM courses offered through UC Scout, participants will understand UC Scout standards and alignment and why they can place their confidence in these resources. We will also share details on Teaching in the Digital Classroom (TDC), a free professional development series designed to support teachers with both the basics of online teaching as well as boosting skills for experienced online educators. With ready-to-use resources and professional development that educators can rely on, teachers will leave with actionable steps to enhance their confidence teaching STEM in their classrooms.
